Design for Large Format Printing (LFP) projects requires a delicate balance between vector-based and raster-based design programs. We use the Adobe products Illustrator and Photoshop respectively to design digital files that will output the highest quality final print. Large banners, signs and vehicle graphics can eat up a ton of hard drive space if not designed properly. While photographic quality is nice for up close viewing, most LFP projects are viewed at distances greater than 10 feet, therefore don't require such high resolution output. Thus saving, disk space, ink and money to the client.
